Coronation of William IV.
A William IV sterling silver covered bowl, very likely produced to commemorate the King's Coronation, the body with 'Old England' pattern decoration incorporating the symbolic plants of the British Isles - the English rose, Scottish thistle and Irish clover.
The detachable cover lifts to reveal a rich gilt interior. The finial similarly decorated with the rose, thistle and clover.
The body and cover correctly hallmarked.
